Johnson Controls seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead our Global Regulatory Compliance Program across multiple business units and geographies. What You’ll Lead
* Global Compliance Strategy: Design and drive a unified regulatory compliance program across Product Business Units (PBUs), ensuring alignment with international standards and certifications.
* Cross-Border Program Execution: Lead multi-country initiatives, integrating compliance into product development, supplier management, and post-launch processes.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Legal, Engineering, Procurement, Government Relations, and external certification bodies to ensure regulatory readiness.
* Tool & Process Optimization: Identify and implement tools for regulatory tracking, documentation, and data management.
* Risk & Audit Leadership: Support internal audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement efforts across the compliance landscape.
Your Profile
* Education: University degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
* Experience:
o Proven leadership in managing regulatory compliance programs across multiple countries and business units.
o Strong background in HVAC, building controls, or related industrial sectors (not medical/pharma).
o Deep understanding of UL, IEC/EN EMC, ASHRAE, and other global standards.
o Experience integrating compliance into product lifecycle management and supplier ecosystems.
o Familiarity with international certification schemes (CE, UKCA, CB Scheme) and quality systems (ISO 9001).
* Skills:
o Fluency in English
o Strategic thinking and program management
o Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management
o Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional teams
* Preferred Qualifications:
o Professional certifications (e.g., UL Certified Functional Safety Professional)
o Experience with BMS or HVAC control product development
o Understanding of software safety classifications and EMC considerations
