About Lucion Group – The Package
* Basic salary between £25,400 - £28,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
We are pleased to offer an opportunity for an Asbestos Analyst & Surveyor Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you will support day-to-day asbestos surveying, sampling, and site inspections, providing technical assistance to ensure safety, compliance, and accurate reporting in line with regulatory standards. This apprenticeship provides a foundation for a future career in asbestos management, building surveying, and analysis, offering opportunities to develop practical and technical skills in a supportive environment with a strong focus on health and safety.
* Investigation of building fabric works as part of an asbestos survey team, ranging from domestic properties to grade II listed buildings to nuclear power plants.
* Air monitoring, sampling and analysis.
* Ensuring all work complies with Health and Safety regulations.
* Delivering excellent customer service to clients at all levels.
* Travelling throughout your allocated region as part of your day-to-day role, with potential travel further afield.
* Collaborating closely with both the field and administrative team.
About You
You’re someone who prefers being on site, comfortable in construction, demolition, or industrial settings. Early starts, travel, and changing locations are acceptable. You value safety, follow procedures, and work in regulated environments with inspections and audits. You are practical, learn by doing, and comfortable using equipment and PPE/RPE. You can work independently after training and communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors. You are motivated by work that matters and aspire to a long-term career with progression toward roles such as surveyor or analyst.
Note: You must be 18+ due to the working environment and a full manual driving licence is required for this role.

* Have lived in the UK for at least 3 years

Apprenticeships are designed to provide new knowledge, skills and behaviours, so applicants should not already hold a Level 3, degree or higher qualification in a closely related subject, or have significant experience in the same field. What the Apprenticeship Covers
Start your career as an asbestos site technician and gain hands-on experience supporting essential surveying, air monitoring, and inspection work in real-world environments. As part of this Level 3 Asbestos Site Technician apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to carry out asbestos surveys, air monitoring, and clearance activities, applying recognised industry methods to produce accurate, compliant, and legally defensible results. Over 12 months, you’ll combine day-to-day experience with structured training delivered by expert tutors in a blended learning approach. You’ll spend at least 6 hours per week on off-the-job training, including virtual learning, practical activities, and applied assignments. Training will include the RSPH Level 3 Award in Asbestos Air Monitoring and Clearance Procedures.
What Could Your Future Look Like?
This apprenticeship will help you build the skills and experience needed to start your career in the asbestos management industry. You’ll gain experience in carrying out asbestos surveys, air monitoring, and clearance testing in line with regulatory requirements, in safety-critical environments. The programme can lead to professional recognition, such as becoming a Registered Science Technician (RSciTech). It also opens opportunities to grow within asbestos surveying, air monitoring, and related technical roles.
