We have an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the amazing team at a small animal veterinary hospital in the Southend area, ESSEX
* full time hours are worked over 4 days a week and include 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and no OOH. (part time hours may be considered)
* practice is a 24 hour RCVS accredited small animal hospital with superb facilities and state-of-the-art equipment including CT scanner
* role would suit an experienced veterinary surgeon with good surgical and medical skills
* interesting, wide and varied caseload provides excellent development opportunities
* join a fantastic team of 14 Vet Surgeons including surgical and medical certificate holders and others pursuing certificates in; surgery, orthopaedics, cardiology, exotics and medicine.
* Generous CPD allowance with funding towards certificates
* paid RCVS, BVA memberships and VDS fees

Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* experienced veterinary surgeon
* good surgical and medical skills
