The successful candidate willbe requiredto: Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Orangery in the absence of the Orangery Management. Assist theOrangeryManagementwith the operationalobjectivesof the business and ensure tight control on costs is achieved in line with the P & L. Support the Orangery Managementwith the trainingand development of the team and the departmenttrainingobjectivesare met. Ensure all company H & S and Food Safetyobjectivesand standards are achieved and that any faults are raised directly with theOrangeryManagementor the H&SAdvisor. Focus on service standards in the business and, in conjunction with theLearning & Development team, continue to improve the overall professional standards. Communicate effectively with all areas of the overall businesstofacilitatehigh standardsacross Ribby Hall Village. EnsureTheOrangeryoperatesto its maximum potential, upselling at all opportunities. Have full product knowledge ofallmenus. Our Perfect match willpossessthe following essential attributes: A minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory or Management role. WSET qualification is desired but not essential. Pro-active, self- motivated and driven to succeed. Excellent Food & Liquor control skills. The ability to manage, motivate and inspire a team to ensure the smooth running of TheOrangery. A thorough knowledge of Allergens. An exceptional level of front of house service. Evidence ofpreviousresponsibility for Health and Safety Compliance. Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills. Outstanding customer service. Resilience and the ability to perform under pressure. Good timemanagement and organisational skills. Attention to detail. Excellent personal presentation. Availability: The position is full time, offering 45 hours over5 days, in a department that operates7 days a week.
