What You’ll Do

In this senior customer facing role you will be responsible for engaging across a broad range of contact points within a customer organisation and determine the technology solution required to provide market-leading service to that customer.

Working with global clients who are UK-centric as part of the Pre-Sales Solution Design organisation in Vodafone UK, you will typically own opportunities worth up to £100M TCV. The nature, criticality and scale of some of these opportunities will allow you to influence and ‘change the way Britain works’.

You will use your knowledge and experience of systems integration to lead the largest and most transformative customer opportunities in Vodafone, supported by a team of subject matter experts who you will lead to success. Your experience of working with senior customer stakeholders in shaping business outcome focused projects will be a significant benefit in this role.

You will support both private sector and public sector clients, so your experience and understanding of procurement frameworks and processes associated with both will be beneficial. You will respond to requests for new technology-derived solutions from the customer but will also be accountable for demand generation activities i.e. pro-actively creating new opportunities to sell Vodafone solutions alongside our client sales teams.

As a senior role in the Vodafone Business Pre-Sales function, the Principal Consultant is viewed as an aspirational position for our colleagues. Successful candidates will benefit from wide organisational interaction and visibility to senior stakeholders across Vodafone Business and will represent Pre-Sales interests in a number of areas. The role provides opportunities for mentoring and developing colleagues and can be a gateway to other senior roles in Vodafone.

Location, Salary & Working Hours

Location: Location Independent Worker + Homebased

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Homebased: Our homebased working means you’ll work from home almost all the time and come together on certain occasions during the year to be creative, collaborative and simply connect. Our “Office in a Box” home working kit will provide you with everything you need, no matter where you are.
