Contract: 3 Months
On-site Location: Near Chipping Norton
Hours: per week
Rate: £18-20 per hour (dependent on experience)
The Opportunity: I’m currently working with an organisation seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their Finance team for 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process and code invoices, ensuring correct approvals and budget allocations.
2. Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, following up on discrepancies.
3. Monitor and chase internal teams for outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely processing.
4. Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoicing, payment, and PO issues.
5. Process and reconcilepany credit card transactions, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
6. Assist with reviewing and processing employee expense claims, ensuringpliance withpany policies and accurate coding.
7. Assist with raising customer invoices and credit notes.
8. Apply receipts and support debt collection efforts as needed.
9. Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances and timely resolution of discrepancies.
10. Support the preparation and processing of documentation for onboarding new clients and suppliers
11. Assist with month-end and year-end close.
12. Assist colleagues across the finance function with ad hoc requests.
13. Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks as requested by the manager and in line withpany needs.
About You:
14. Previous experience working within Accounts Payable processes
15. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
16. Excellentmunication skills and ability to collaborate within a small team
17. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
