We are looking for an exceptionally talented, bright, and driven individual to join our Human Resources team as a Senior HR Business Partner. The Senior HR Business Partner will be an advisor to Senior Operations leaders, utilizing their strong HR experience and expertise. You will develop and execute business strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. As a natural culture steward, you will partner with internal stakeholders to integrate Amazon’s unique culture into the employee experience. Additionally, you will implement standard processes and policies, guide the organization through change as a champion of Change Management, and drive innovation and continuous improvement as a key member of the Senior Regional HR leadership team.
Key job responsibilities
1. Manage time effectively to oversee a small cluster of Amazon Logistics sites in the South West of England, partnering with the Senior Operations leader.
2. Drive Associate engagement programs, act as Employee Relations Subject Matter Expert, and monitor feedback to improve employee relations, retention, and rewards.
3. Manage labor relations and complex cases with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring legislative compliance.
4. Create people-centric plans aligned with business strategy, focusing on talent development.
5. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, and development initiatives for middle and senior management.
6. Facilitate talent review processes and succession planning in collaboration with management.
7. Utilize data insights to enhance processes, employee engagement, and policy alignment.
8. Lead HR projects and change initiatives, including the deployment of new tools and technologies.
9. Manage and develop a small team, becoming an SME in your business line.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in an HR-related field or equivalent experience.
* Experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of current HR practices, trends, and tools.
* Proficiency with MS Office and HR Information Systems.
* Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
* Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making.
* Influencing skills.
