Senior Network Engineer | Bath | £55,000 - £65,000 DOE | Hybrid
Location: Bath, UK (hybrid). Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (DOE).
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the network runs efficiently day-to-day, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
* Tackling complex challenges, identifying root causes, and implementing improvements.
* Supporting the evolution of monitoring systems and automation approaches.
* Influencing roadmap decisions and contributing to future upgrades.
* Acting as a trusted point of escalation for incidents.
* Mentoring and supporting other engineers, sharing best practice.
Qualifications
* Strong background in network engineering within a service provider, data centre, or similar environment.
* Solid understanding of modern network infrastructure.
* Hands-on experience with routing and troubleshooting.
* Familiarity with network monitoring and automation concepts.
* Clear communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
* Leadership or mentorship qualities.
* Industry certifications are a bonus, but not essential.
