About the Role Would you like the opportunity to work in a busy practice on the edge of Northampton? Woodview Medical Centre is looking for a full-time or part-time salaried GP - number of sessions is negotiable - to join our supportive practice.
You will be working in modern purpose built premises with a pharmacy and dental surgery on site with dedicated doctors parking with full CCTV surveillance and near major roads. The post-holder will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care services to the practice population, managing a broad spectrum of health issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Main duties of the role
Provide general medical services in accordance with the GMS contract.
Conduct patient consultations, face-to-face, telephone, and the occasional home visit where appropriate.
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Promote health education and preventative medicine.
Undertake clinical procedures within scope of competence.
Process laboratory results and hospital letters (which have been triaged to reduce to bare minimum)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using SystmOne
Follow agreed protocols and guidelines (e.g. NICE).
Team and Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.
Participate in practice meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support supervision and training of medical students, registrars, or other staff if applicable.
About the Candidate All applicants should have the following qualifications:
Essential
GMC registration with a licence to practise
Fully qualified GP (UK MRCGP/CCT equivalent)
Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
Experience of working in UK general practice or equivalent setting
Professional, reliable and respectful manner
Flexible and adaptable

Excellent clinical skills and diagnostic ability
Ability to manage a full range of clinical conditions
