Verification Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading global semiconductor company within their verification team. You’ll work with cutting-edge tools and methodologies and play a key role in the ongoing growth of the Bristol Design Centre.
As a Senior Staff Verification Engineer, you will take ownership of SystemVerilog UVM testbench development, tackle complex verification challenges, and contribute to the design and verification of next-generation products.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain SystemVerilog UVM testbenches, addressing complex technical challenges
* Lead the development of new SV UVM verification components
* Understand and modify existing Specman-e testbenches
* Debug failing test cases to identify and resolve root cause
* Define and implement a functional coverage model
* Participate in code and testbench reviews to ensure quality and completeness.
* Provide verification input during design and concept reviews
* Ensure all verification deliverables meet sign-off targets, including coverage, functional safety, and qualification requirements
* Drive efficiency improvements across verification activities and proactively mitigate risks
* Contribute to the enhancement of verification strategy and testbench architecture for IP-level designs
Required experience & skills:
* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
* 5+ years of experience in digital design verification, preferably at the IP level, using SystemVerilog UVM
* Strong proficiency in UVM, SVA, and SystemVerilog
* Experience in developing verification frameworks and environments.
* Proven track record of owning and delivering IP-level verification to defined metric targets
* Ability to interpret complex design specifications and derive testbench architecture and features from concept
