Avery Healthcare is one of the UK's largest providers of luxury elderly care homes, with a vision of 'creating meaningful lives together'. They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Receptionist in their Weston Super Mare location.


Main duties of the job

As a Receptionist at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to offer professional, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home, as well as providing a range of administrative services. This will include answering the telephone, responding to enquiries, redirecting calls, and completing reception-related administration tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining the general tidiness of the reception area and liaising with Housekeeping to ensure standards are maintained.

About the role

Your role as a receptionist will be to provide professional, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact, along with administrative support.

Other responsibilities include:

* Answering the telephone, responding to enquiries, redirecting calls, and recording messages.
* Completing reception-related administration, maintaining databases, and assisting the General Manager.
* Keeping the reception area tidy and liaising with Housekeeping.

* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Be confident using computers.

Qualifications

* Excellent communication skills, confident computer use, positive attitude, and experience with problem-solving and client complaints.
