Service Delivery Security Manager
Team
The Service Delivery Security Manager role is part of the KPMG UK Information Security function, reporting directly to the Security Production Assurance & Compliance Lead. This role is vital in delivering secure, innovative, technology-enabled services and solutions for KPMG and its clients, ensuring services are "secure by design" to maintain trust with stakeholders, clients, and regulators.
Role
The primary purpose is to enable harmonious delivery of Security Services through strong collaboration with external Service Providers and all KPMG business functions. Focus areas include:
* Managing the security services relationship to ensure the delivery of all KPMG UK Technology services and third-party suppliers.
* Providing governance for infrastructure security services.
* Overseeing the complete set of services provided by KPMG UK Technology and third-party suppliers, troubleshooting issues, and escalating as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with Service Owners to understand their roadmaps and operational requirements.
* Leading governance processes for these services.
* Ensuring standards, guidelines, and contractual commitments are met.
* Reviewing and governing service provider quality, improvement plans, issues, and operational risks.
* Facilitating issue resolution and building consensus around escalations.
* Managing knowledge transfer, reporting, documentation, and engagement practices to ensure operational excellence.
* Reviewing capacity plans to meet demand and align with roadmaps.
* Consolidating and reporting on security service delivery and initiatives.
* Coordinating changes to minimize disruption.
* Communicating major security changes to stakeholders.
* Serving as a single point of contact for security-related queries and issues.
* Working with Service Delivery Managers and Service Owners to clarify expectations and remediations.
* Implementing operational security activities and standards with the Security Production Assurance & Compliance Lead.
* Building stakeholder relationships, negotiating service levels, and defining project scopes.
* Monitoring and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards, escalating issues as necessary.
* Proposing policy and procedure improvements based on feedback.
* Supporting incident and problem management teams.
* Managing security domain compliance using automation and a customer-focused approach, and developing service strategies and roadmaps.
Knowledge/Skills
* Creating and maintaining dashboards (preferably via PowerBI) by unifying reports from various sources.
* Extensive experience in infrastructure or technology management leadership roles.
* Understanding of change management processes (ITIL).
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
* Experience managing delivery teams and managed IT services.
* Proven ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
* Ability to deliver transformation plans supporting operational goals.
* Strong financial and commercial acumen.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Ability to set challenging objectives aligned with strategic priorities.

* Knowledge of infrastructure management tools such as Endpoint Protection, ITSM platforms, and security tools.
