Welcome to The Rashleigh Inn, Polkerris. PL24 2TL We are a Freehouse situated in Polkerris, in-between Fowey and St Austell and right on the beach. Our food is homemade and focused on pub classics, with lots of fresh seafood & varying specials thrown in. About you: You must have pride in your work and care about the food you serve Be a team player and help other sections out when needed Positive attitude and a desire to further yourself and the pub by taking care of your work You will know your way around a kitchen and be able to fit into a team that is very settled, but using your maturity to drip feed new ideas into our setup. About the job: We are open 7 days a week and you must be flexible to work 4 or 5 days per week Monday - Sunday, and on flexible AM/PM shift patterns We have specs for all our recipes but we expect chefs to taste and season as required, this is not a cook by numbers operation General cleaning and housekeeping of kitchen - not piling everything onto the KP's Our kitchen closes at 8pm and on a busy day you will be finished by 9:30pm after the clean down. We are very settled team and don't have the standard brigade system, our 3 core chefs work together to split responsibilities such as ordering, rotas and standards. Days off are days off. You won't be bothered when you are away from work. We offer: Basic pay rates between £13.00 and £14 depending on experience (100% share of tips on top). Industry recognised training courses.
