Overview
Commercial Property Associate - Southampton. We have an exciting opportunity for a commercial property lawyer to join our national property division undertaking a broad range of commercial property work. This role will develop your technical and client management skills with access to challenging and varied work, working alongside highly respected senior practitioners there are real opportunities for career development.
We are looking for an ambitious Associate to work with us. You will have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience and be excited by the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of commercial property work we do. This role will be based in our Southampton office 2/3 days a week with flexible hybrid working options.
Our national commercial property division has a presence in all seven of our offices and consists of approximately 90 fee earners and support staff, including 31 Partners. We advise on all stages of the commercial property lifecycle from first plans to asset management and disposal, across sectors including Real Estate Investor and Developer, Social Housing, Housebuilder, Retail and Leisure, Telecoms, Banking and Finance, Green Energy and Real Estate Asset Management.
We pride ourselves on a broad diet of work and on not pigeonholing our junior lawyers, ensuring exposure to many facets of commercial property while working with our senior associate and partner group across the division. We support business development and embedding into client sectors, with opportunities to deepen existing client relationships while complying with information security and all firm policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
* Undertake a broad range of commercial property work across the lifecycle from initial planning to asset management and disposal.
* Engage in business development activities and embed into client sectors.
* Develop client relationships and collaborate with senior practitioners across the division.
* Adhere to information security and all firm policies and procedures.
* Work collaboratively within a national team and contribute to a high-performance culture.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in commercial property.
* Strong academic record and demonstrable initiative, drive, and excellent organizational skills.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills; eager to learn and develop.
