Job Purpose: I am a lady with physical disabilities who is looking to employ a friendly and energetic person to support and enable me to enjoy social activities and maintain independence. I like to take walks in nature and rural areas as well as visiting shops. I can get anxious when out and about and therefore need someone who will support me emotionally.
I would also like support with general household tasks, gardening, light DIY, and help with achieving my creative ideas.
Location: Holt area, NR11
Details: Support with accessing the community and outdoor places.
Person specification Essential: Open, creative and organised. Good motivational and planning skills. Car owner with the appropriate insurance. Dog lover and willing to take the dog out in the car.
Summary terms and conditions: The rate of pay for this position is £14 per hour. Hours and times of work: 12 hours per week arranged flexibly. Exact timing advised in advance but would like someone to support Tuesday, Thursday and occasionally Saturday. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks. This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety.
Post is subject to the following: A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
