We are working with an esteemed international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Competition & Antitrust practice within their London office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a dynamic, nationally regarded Competition team, managing high-profile antitrust cases, as well as complex, high-value competition matters. The candidate will advise on matters such as competition enforcement, merger control, and competition litigation, as well as foreign direct investment, cartel work and behavioural antitrust matters, vertical supply-chain strategy, and competition-led regulation.
The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria:
* 2+ PQE;
* Strong background in competition law matters, including merger control and behavioural matters, in the UK and internationally;
* Excellent commercial awareness;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Negotiation skills;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
