About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Preconstruction Director to lead the early stages of major construction projects across London, while being based in our Basingstoke office. This is a long-term temporary opportunity for a strategic leader with a proven track record in preconstruction management and multidisciplinary team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preconstruction phase of multiple projects up to £20m in value.
* Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including design, planning, commercial, and operational functions.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
* Ensure commercial and contractual compliance throughout the preconstruction process.
* Oversee project planning, risk management, and value engineering initiatives.
* Report to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and opportunities.
Key Skills & Qualifications
1. Full UK Driving Licence.
2. Valid CSCS Card.
3. HNC/HND/Degree in a construction or engineering discipline.
4. Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIOB, APM, CIAT, RICS).
