Receptionist / Scheduler
We are looking for a motivated Receptionist / Scheduler to join the Breast Imaging Team at Barts Health.
This is an administrative role requiring in-depth knowledge of administrative practices within NHS service
Main duties of the job
As a Receptionist / Scheduler the post holder will work as part of a highly motivated team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the 3 sites (St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, Whipps Cross Hospital and Newham University Hospital) in the Breast Imaging Service, who shall be responsible to the Service Delivery Manager and the Service Manager for the overall performance of the Symptomatic Breast Imaging service. The post holder will provide administrative, scheduling and secretarial services

Essential criteria
1. GCSE A Level or equivalent standard of education

2. +1 years’ Experience of working in the NHS

3. Significant administrative/ secretarial experience including initiating and Maintaining office systems.
4. Experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
5. Commitment to continuing professional development
6. Evidence of being able to work within set timeframes and managing changing priorities / deadlines to meet challenging targets.
7. Able to work in a busy clinical environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
8. Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
