Wenzel’s was established in 1975 and has since become a favourite for locals in the North-West and Greater London, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Hampshire and Surrey. We believe in delivering quality products at affordable prices and outstanding customer service. We currently have over 100 shops and are expanding the brand by opening more of our retail shops. We are looking for exciting new talent with a passion for food and customer service to join our team as one of our Shop Managers.

Pay & Hours
For our Shop Manager roles we offer a competitive pay of £30,000 to £34,000 depending on experience. The salary for a part time Shop Manager is pro-rata. A full-time working week is 42 hours. We are happy to discuss flexible hours where possible (e.g., 9.00am – 3.00pm).
What We Are Looking For
* An experienced retail manager to oversee the daily operations of the shop
* Ability to drive sales while controlling costs and ensuring smooth shop operation
* Experience in leading, training, and motivating a team with a hands-on approach
* Confident, enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of working as part of a team
* Adaptable and able to solve problems
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day shop operations
* Drive sales, control costs, and deliver profit
* Work towards KPIs including wage percentage, average sale, stock, wastage and energy targets
* Lead, train and develop the team; performance manage as required
* Ensure sandwich and food production standards meet high quality
* Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain shop displays
* Recruitment of new team members when required
* Receive and check daily deliveries; manage stock and produce
* Open or close the shop as required; cash handling and till operation
