We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal hospital in Bradford, West Yorkshire for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week, along with Saturday mornings on a rota. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

Responsibilities
18. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
19. They will lead the medicine side of this hospital and work closely alongside the CD
20. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

23. Highly experienced team of certificate holding surgeons.
24. They are equipped with facilities to deal with a wide variety of medical and surgical cases
25. They are located close to both Leeds and Bradford
26. They have a team of 14 Vets, 2 Night Vets and 7 Nurses. They have certificate holders in ECC and ophthalmology along with a few nurses who hold post graduate qualifications.
27. They are fully equipped with various diagnostics and have dental x-rays, soft tissue and orthopaedic theatres, ultrasound and endoscopy

About you:
33. They are looking for an experienced Vet who will be motivated and driven and embrace all aspects of the small animal role
34. The Vet will be happy with some sole charge work - support will be available for less experienced Vets
35. It would be advantageous if the Vet held a certificate in small animal medicine or they were looking to start working towards a certificate
36. The Vet will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships.
37. The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills and ability to build working relationships easily
38. The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care

39. Salary: Up to £65, per annum, commensurate to experience
40. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
