As one of our Bentley apprentices, you will combine practical experience with classroom learning to achieve a Level 6 Manufacturing Engineer Degree. You will play a significant part in our business as we continue on this exciting journey to deliver extraordinary vehicles for our customers. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:

There are two Apprenticeships available within Manufacturing:

1. Manufacturing Paintshop (Onsite):
The Manufacturing Paintshop Apprentice is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of luxury vehicle manufacturing and excite our customers with Bentley’s vast colour paint range. Whilst working alongside and being mentored by our expert colleagues you will gain invaluable experience becoming an expert in current and future paint material technology.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with the team to work on new colour development and paint innovations
* Digital measurement and monitoring of the Bentley paint colour range
* Contribute to process improvement projects to improve quality, excite customers and work towards sustainability targets
2. Wood Shop Production (Hybrid/ 3 days onsite):
The Wood Shop Production Planning Apprenticeship is a unique opportunity to be immersed in new manufacturing concepts and facilities to deliver industry-leading processes and methods. Whilst working alongside and being mentored by our experienced colleagues you will learn how we plan the manufacturing processes that deliver our world-class products to our customers.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Working within Wood Shop Production Planning team to develop and deliver the new processes of the future
* Learn and deliver Lean Manufacturing practices (processes to optimise efficiency)
* Become an expert in Advance Product Quality Planning which ensures customer satisfaction with new products and processes
About the Department:
The Apprentice positions sit within the wider Manufacturing department. Our goal in Manufacturing is to deliver an extraordinary journey for our customers, inspiring them with a magical fusion of craftsmanship, innovation and sustainability. Our purpose includes our Bentley factory, which is the first luxury car factory in the world to be certified carbon-neutral. As part of our journey to electrification, we’re investing in our site to create a Dream Factory; a world-leading, next-generation digital, low environmental impact, advanced manufacturing facility.

University of Warwick: 3 A-Levels at Grade BBC (112 UCAS points minimum) including 2 B’s in Maths & a STEM subject. GCSE Maths, English & a STEM subject Grade 4 (C) or above. Or BTEC Nationals DDD including 2 Maths Modules. T Levels not accepted.
Skills:
* Great communication

* Interest in how things work, technology and innovation
* Work experience desired but not essential
