Overview
MAN v FAT Football provides 14 week, small sided football leagues designed to support overweight men in improving their physical and mental health. The programme launched in 2016 and has expanded to over 150 clubs across the UK. The clubs endorsements include support from the FA and Sport England.
The role is for a dedicated MAN v FAT Health and Wellbeing Coach to support players and ensure the smooth running and high performance of the club based at Woking College, GU22 9DL (Mondays, 7 – 8:30pm). This is not a football coaching role; it focuses on supporting and motivating players to make healthy lifestyle changes, facilitating a safe and effective session, and completing league related admin tasks.
Note: The role does not involve training players on the pitch or instructing exercise of any kind.
Responsibilities
* Support players to make healthy lifestyle changes and facilitate safe, engaging sessions.
* Deliver session administration and weigh-ins as part of the weekly club activity.
* Provide motivation and a positive environment to encourage weight loss and health improvements.
* Assist with basic data entry and club administration; you may need to use a computer and have access to your own device.
* Co-ordinate with club staff to ensure high performance and smooth operation of the sessions.
About you / Qualifications
* Well organised with good time management.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Understanding of weight loss (or first-hand experience preferred).
* Confident with computing; ability to perform online data entry and use personal device.
* Current First Aid qualification is preferred but not essential.
* Access to own transport for transporting equipment to sessions; full training and equipment provided.

Contract & Hours
This is a sessional role (3 hours per week) with potential to expand as clubs grow. Hours include face-to-face player support, weigh-ins (Mon day) and club-related admin throughout the week.
Salary: £15 - £20 per hour.
