Our client, a well-regarded further education provider, is seeking a dynamic and empathetic Student Achievement Tutor to join their pastoral support team.

From delivering impactful weekly tutorials to managing a pastoral caseload, you’ll provide essential support in safeguarding, careers guidance, and academic development.
Role highlights:
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver weekly group tutorials on safeguarding, study skills, social action, careers and more
* Manage 13–17 tutorial groups (approx. 300 students) and monitor individual progress
* Conduct one-to-ones, set SMART targets and identify progression routes
* Collaborate with curriculum and support teams to deliver interventions, improve attendance and behaviour
* Ensure completion of work experience, enrichment, stretch projects and careers benchmarks
* Monitor and support vulnerable cohorts, referring to internal and external agencies where needed
* Actively engage with parents/carers, attend reviews, and contribute to UCAS and destination planning
Ideal candidate:
* You’ll have experience supporting young people in education, a confident ability to lead tutorials, and an empathetic, calm approach to student welfare.
* A relevant degree or FE experience is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to obtain or currently hold an Enhanced DBS
