Night Support Worker at Laughton Croft Residential Home

As a Night Support Worker, you will work as part of a team to support residents, providing practical assistance and encouraging independence according to residents' wishes and management requirements. The position is based in person at Laughton Croft Residential Home. Applicants must reside in the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Support residents with household, personal, and group tasks, reinforcing skills already learned.
* Become a Key Worker for a resident, planning and organizing their care.
* Liaise with professionals and significant others involved in residents' care.
* Assist in developing, preparing, monitoring, maintaining, and reviewing care and personal plans, updating on the care app.
* Participate in interviews, meetings, supervision sessions, and training courses.
* Attend residents' house meetings and staff meetings.
* Adhere to the home's philosophy, policies, and procedures.
* Administer or assist with medication and maintain accurate medication records.
Person Specification:
* Reliable and trustworthy.
* Enthusiastic and motivated to deliver positive outcomes.
* Good communication skills.
* NVQ Level 2 or above preferred; training provided.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Experience with mental health conditions and/or dementia is desirable.
