1:1 Teaching Assistant

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and patient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Folkestone. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a child with additional learning needs and help them thrive in a supportive classroom environment.
The Role:
* Supporting a named pupil on a 1:1 basis within a mainstream primary setting.
* Assisting with personalised learning plans tailored to the pupil s needs.
* Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals.
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and encouraging learning atmosphere.
* Helping the child access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children, ideally in a 1:1 or SEN capacity.
* A calm, resilient, and empathetic nature.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
* An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training can be provided).
