We are seeking to recruit a Level 3 Apprentice Teaching Assistants who is highly motivated, dedicated and passionate about education, to join our successful and supportive team, here at Willoughby Academy. Self-confidence and enthusiasm combined with energy and perseverance are a prerequisite.
Willoughby is an all needs, through Academy (2 – 19) for students with moderate, severe, profound and complex needs. We offer a highly supportive learning environment with excellent facilities. During the Apprenticeship you will undertake the Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification. You will be providing support to teaching staff by assisting in the delivery of class-based tasks to groups or individual students.

• Able to support specific needs in accordance with the requirements of pupils individual Educational Health and Care Plans.
GCSE Maths and English Grade C and above, or equivalent are required for this role. However, applications will be considered for this position from candidates who do not hold these qualifications as Functional Skills training will be given to the successful applicant. Good interpersonal skills are vital, with a desire to develop techniques to motivate and support young people.
