Location: The successful candidate would be ideally based commutable to the M5/M6 corridor. Role to include travel across the UK with expensed overnight stays.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 and Fridays 08:30–16:00
Salary: £45,000 + car allowance and expenses
Contract: Full time, permanent
Purpose of the Role
The TMO Project Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering strategic transformation projects across our food manufacturing network. You'll help turn ambitious plans into operational reality – ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently, on time, and aligned with business objectives. Acting as the vital link between programme leadership and site teams, you'll drive momentum, remove obstacles, and support successful implementation on the ground.
What you will be doing:
* Provide hands‑on, day‑to‑day support for project delivery, including planning, coordination, and tracking of activities, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
* Coordinate a wide range of stakeholders, working closely with site leadership, functional teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
* Monitor project progress, highlight risks and issues, and support timely escalation and mitigation actions.
* Support the adoption of change by helping embed new processes, systems, and ways of working across sites.
* Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, dashboards, and regular status reporting.
* Collect and analyse data, track KPIs, and provide insight into the impact and benefits of transformation initiatives.
* Ensure all activities comply with food safety, quality, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, delivery approaches, or timelines, and make practical recommendations.
What we need from you:
* Proven experience in project coordination within a manufacturing or food production environment (essential).
* Experience working across a multi‑site manufacturing network (desirable).
* Good understanding of food manufacturing operations and operational improvement initiatives (desirable).
* Strong organisational, planning, and multitasking capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Competence in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.
* Highly numerate and analytical, with strong MS Excel skills.
* Full UK driving licence essential; the role involves regular travel and overnight stays.
