ADAS is seeking experienced Arboricultural Surveyors or Consultants to join our Arboriculture team due to continued growth.
These flexible, part-time roles offer the opportunity to work either on a Zero-Hour basis or as a subcontractor, depending on your preference.

Key Responsibilities
5. Undertake arboricultural condition surveys using the principles of Visual Tree Assessment and specify the necessary work on individual trees, groups of trees, and amenity woodlands in accordance with current guidance and best practice.
6. Carry out tree risk assessments following current guidance and best practice, utilising a range of industry methodologies (such as THREATs, QTRA, VALID). There may also be a need to process and provide survey data in a format presentable to a client.
7. Carry out arboricultural surveys in accordance with BS5837:2012 on development sites. There may also be a need to process and provide survey data in a format presentable to a client.
8. Conduct and deliver a high standard of work in accordance with ADAS and its clients standards.
Person Specification
9. Essential A full driving licence and ability to be flexible regarding the type of work, timing and location (some jobs may require overnight stays). Must hold a recognised arboricultural qualification at Level 3 or above.
10. Desirable Lantra Professional Tree Inspection Certificate. Utility Arboriculture Surveyor qualification / competencies Rail competencies (PTS, IWA, COSS) Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) Experience of using a range of software (such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Ezytreev, KaarbonTech, Confirm)
11. Subcontractors only Own arboricultural survey equipment (such as mobile device capable of supporting a range of software, measuring tools) Office software capable of processing and producing survey data compatible with ArcGIS, AutoCAD
