White Star Heritage LTD runs the UK’s largest and most successful Titanic exhibition, touring the UK with it’s world class collection of genuine artefacts, immersive set builds, video technology and educational content.
Role Description
We are seeking a commercially driven operator to drive ticket sales for a large-scale touring exhibition.
This is not a traditional marketing role.
Your sole focus is revenue generation — filling capacity through partnerships, group bookings, and direct sales activity in the lead-up to each city launch. You can work anywhere in the UK but you might need to travel to venues at locations such as NEC Birmingham (imminent) and London (August), followed by additional UK cities.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Driving pre-sales ahead of each exhibition launch
* Building and activating local partnerships (hotels, attractions, tourism boards, concierge networks)
* Identifying and executing high-impact sales opportunities quickly
* Working closely with the team on pricing, offers, and sales tactics
* Creating urgency and demand for a limited-time touring experience
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in selling tickets for exhibitions, attractions, events, or touring productions
* Strong track record in B2B sales, partnerships, or group bookings
* Existing network across schools, coach operators, tourism, or corporate events (highly desirable)
* Highly proactive — comfortable picking up the phone and closing deals
* Commercial mindset — focused on conversion and revenue, not just marketing activity
* Able to move quickly and operate in a short lead-time, high-pressure environment.
What Success Looks Like
* High volume of pre-booked tickets before opening week
* Strong pipeline of group bookings and repeat visits
* Effective local partnerships driving consistent ticket flow
* Clear contribution to meeting or exceeding ticket revenue targets
Compensation
* Freelance contract (per city or rolling across tour)
* Base fee (negotiable depending on experience)
* + Commission on ticket sales and/or group bookings
* Performance-based bonuses for hitting agreed sales targets
Why This Role
* Opportunity to work on a high-profile touring exhibition
* Direct impact on revenue — your work will be immediately visible
* Flexible, fast-paced environment with real commercial autonomy
* Potential to continue across multiple UK locations
