Are you an experienced Paramedic or Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking to work at the forefront of same day primary care?
We’re working with a busy GP practice seeking a confident clinician to join their duty team, managing acute presentations and supporting same-day demand. Following the success of their current Paramedic, they’re expanding the team.
The Role
You’ll work alongside Duty Doctors to assess and treat a wide range of acute and minor illness presentations, including both telephone triage and face-to-face consultations, with occasional home visits.
This is a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same, ideal for clinicians who enjoy autonomy and clinical challenge.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute and minor illness
* Managing presentations such as infections, minor injuries, abdominal pain, rashes & more
* Triage via phone and deliver face-to-face care
* Creating treatment plans and arranging follow-ups/tests
* Supporting patients with health promotion and self-care
* Helping reduce unnecessary hospital admissions
What We’re Looking For
* Paramedic or ANP with relevant registration (HCPC / NMC)
* Experience in Primary Care and/or Minor Illness
* Confident working autonomously
* Experience treating both adults and children
Desirable:
* Independent Prescriber
* EMIS experience
