We are seeking an experienced Technical Mo Cap Animator, you will create high-quality animation using performance capture data for characters, creatures, and cinematic scenes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of passionate and experienced developers on a AAA project.
Requirements
* Experience working as a Technical/ Mo Cap Animator on at least one published AAA console title.
* Extensive experience with MotionBuilder and Maya.
* Proven experience with mocap clean up tools.
* Understanding of human anatomy, body/creature mechanics, and all animation principles.
* Proven experience working within Unreal Engine 5.
Responsibilities
* Clean, process, and retarget captured data to digital character rigs.
* Collaborate with directors, animators, and tech artists to refine performance quality.
* Integrate animations into the engines.
* Troubleshoot mo cap rigs, and markers etc.
* Ensure animation quality meets artistic and technical standards across all assets.
* Work with the wider art, design and code teams to champion best technical practices.
* As part of reviews, be able to provide constructive critique and solutions.
* Ability to self‑motivate as well as motivate other members of the team.
