SEN Primary School Teaching Assistant – Bury We are looking for a compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary school in Bury. You will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping them access learning and develop key communication, social and emotional skills. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of inclusive, differentiated lessons Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual learning needs Build strong relationships to encourage engagement and confidence Assist with EHCP targets, learning plans and early intervention strategies Encourage independence, communication and positive behaviour Support personal care and sensory needs when required Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and SEN guidance Essential Requirements Experience working with children, ideally within SEN or primary education A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach Full-time availability during school hours Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive practice Ability to work effectively within a school support team All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
