You will be an ambassador for CRUK, inspiring your team to maximise sales and fundraising targets. Your shop will be a place where the community meets CRUK’s brand and sees the impact we make.
Key Responsibilities
* Guide, inspire and engage a team of paid staff and volunteers, including recruitment, retention and development of a diverse shop team.
* Take ownership of the commercial running of the store: display, merchandising, stock management, shop standards, layout, sales and income.
* Lead by example and provide excellent customer and supporter service.
* Maximise profit through effective cost control and sales.
* Create relationships with the local community and CRUK colleagues.
* Organise and run creative fundraising events to achieve fundraising targets.
* Maintain compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, security, administration and HR policies.
* Perform manual handling and physical activity as required by day‑to‑day duties.

* Flexibility; willingness to work rota‑basis to meet business needs while balancing life outside work.
