As part of the eligibility criteria for this role, we require candidates to have completed the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules.
If you have not yet completed these modules, don't worry - we are happy to support you in obtaining them. You will be provided with direct access to the required training materials. The training costs approximately GBP180 (One time Payment), and successful completion is necessary prior to commencing the role.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Autistic Society, which can serve as a valuable addition to your professional profile. This certification is widely recognised and can strengthen your CV when applying for roles that support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse conditions.

* Develop and implement individualized learning plans.
* Guide students in effective time management.
* Assess student progress and adapt plans as needed.
* Collaborate with university staff.
* Utilize online teaching technologies.
* Create personalized learning plans and provide tailored academic support to students with SPLDs and Autism.
* Provide academic support and guidance to students.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Requirements
We're looking for you, if:
* Proven teaching experience with SPLDs.
* Relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
* Experience supporting autistic students.
* Completion of relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules (support provided if needed).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to student success.
* Postgraduate qualification.
