Head Housekeeper. Manor Park Care Home

* Salary: £13.10 per hour
* Shift Pattern: 8am-6:30pm
Manor Park Care Home, located in the heart of Malton, is a brand-new, purpose-built care facility now open and delivering exceptional residential, nursing, and dementia care. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the home.
Key Responsibilities.
* Lead and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring all areas of the home are maintained to the highest standards.
* Develop and oversee cleaning schedules, ensuring compliance with infection control and health & safety regulations.
* Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and manage ordering processes.
* Ensure laundry services run efficiently, including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of residents’ clothing and linens.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain quality standards.
* Train and support housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
* Build strong relationships with residents and staff, always respecting privacy and dignity.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a supervisory housekeeping role, ideally within a care home, hotel, or healthcare setting.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
* A thorough understanding of infection control and hygiene best practices.
* Ability to work flexibly, including weekends if required.
* A compassionate and respectful approach to working in a care environment.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’.
