We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing and Production Coordinator to join our team, working within the men's apparel business. This role is crucial for managing the entire production lifecycle, from initial supplier engagement to final product handover for logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of factory operations, a knack for negotiation, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. You'll be a key liaison between our design, product development, and compliance teams and our global manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities

* Factory Relationship Management
: Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with our existing and new manufacturing partners. Regularly communicate to ensure alignment on product quality, production timelines, and business goals.
* Price Negotiation
: Undertake negotiations with factories to secure competitive pricing for products, ensuring they align with our business's target price architecture and profitability goals.
* Compliance Support
: Work closely with the compliance team - where necessary - to ensure all factories and products meet our ethical, social, and quality standards. Assist the compliance team in follow-up on factory audits and conflict minerals data gathering.
* Cross-functional Collaboration
: Partner with the Design and Product Development teams early in the process to advise on cost-effective materials and production methods. Provide regular updates and solutions to potential production challenges.
* Order Placement
: Manage the end-to-end process of placing production orders, including the creation and distribution of purchase orders (POs), and ensuring all product specifications are accurately communicated to the factory.
* Critical Path Management
: Own and manage the production critical path from the point of order placement through to the logistics handover. Proactively identify and resolve potential delays, communicating any risks to relevant stakeholders.
* Sustainability:
work closely with the Department Head and Sourcing Manager to ensure we align with the brand and Company sustainability goals including, but not limited to, Textiles2030, Digital Product Passport and Ecobalyse.

Skills & Qualifications

* Proven experience in a sourcing, production, or similar role within the retail or manufacturing industry (menswear specifically is advantageous)
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Strong understanding of garment or product construction and manufacturing processes across a global supply base, eg. Bangladesh, India, China, Turkey and Portugal
* As you will be working across multiple seasons, the need to be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously is crucial.
* A collaborative and problem-solving mindset
* Experience with critical path management software or tools is a plus (typically Excel, Google and internal company-specific systems)
* Familiarity with - or willingness to learn - sustainability, ethical trading and compliance standards.

Salary £38,000 per year. Benefits include:

* 24 days holiday (increasing to 25 after 3 years' service) plus 8 Bank holidays (pro rata for part timers);
