Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a OF4 to serve as SO1 Healthcare and Medical Pan Defence Skills Framework Lead at DMS Whittington (DMS(W)), Lichfield on FTRS (Home Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 Jun 26 ( or earlier/later, subject to formal establishment and candidate status). Unit Role Dir Med Pers and Trg (DMP&T) leads the human capability required to deliver the Defence Medical Function. DMP&T is also the Defence Head of Profession Healthcare and Medical. Position Role This role will support the Defence Head of Profession to develop, deliver and implement the Pan Defence Skills Framework (PDSF) for the Profession and the Defence Medical Services. Task requirement Develop, deliver & implement the PDSF project for the Healthcare & Med profession. Refine & develop future Med PDSF skills, working with specialists across the profession/wider Defence. Plan & conduct role/position to skill mapping & supporting data collection/analysis. Plan & conduct pilot testing of PDSF systems & processes for early adopt Med cadres. Design & delivery of a communications/onboarding plan & supporting guidance to enable the onboarding of DMS personnel to the PDSF. Engage & collaborate with the Services/other Professions to develop & implement PDSF & how this will be governed, assured & with Med. Develop & ensure delivery plans are in place for the Healthcare & Medical PDSF strategy and associated actions. Act as first point of contact for all PDSF & Profession related questions for the DMS.
