We are currently recruiting enthusiastic ECTs to work across a range of supportive primary and secondary schools in Gateshead and the surrounding areas. The Role
As an ECT, you will:
* Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons within your specialist subject or key stage
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive
* Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and classroom practice
* Build strong professional relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
* Maintain high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding
* Develop your teaching skills with ongoing support and guidance
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold, or be working towards, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have a degree in their specialist subject area
* Be passionate about education and committed to student success
* Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Be adaptable, proactive, and eager to develop professionally
* Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
