Are you ready to step into a leadership role where you can truly make a difference? We are looking for a committed and proactive Team Leader to join a friendly team in a children's residential home. Please note: experience of working in an Ofsted-regulated home is essential for this role. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) looking to develop their skills and contribute to a high-quality, child-focused service. Team Leader Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a team of Residential Care Workers. Ensure that the physical, emotional, and social needs of children and young people are met. Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families. Responsibility for safeguarding and promoting individual rights, providing good quality care, which is free from oppression, and where differences are respected and valued Act as a role model and mentor to our Residential Support Workers, providing guidance and support as required. Assist the Registered Manager in the implementation of care plans and risk assessments. Ensure that all records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date Team Leader Requirements: Experience working in an Ofsted-regulated children's residential setting is essential. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards. Sound knowledge of safeguarding, care regulations and relevant legislation. Leadership qualities with a supportive and resilient approach. A strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
