Interim Payroll & Operations Support – 3-Month Contract
Rate: circa £20 per hour
Start: Immediately or early December
Location: Blackburn area
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced Payroll & Operations Support Professional to join their team on an interim basis for an initial 3-month contract. This position will provide vital cover during a particularly busy period, supporting both payroll activities and wider operational functions.
What We’re Looking For
* Immediate availability or ability to start at the beginning of December
* Solid experience in payroll support - full end-to-end experience isn’t essential, but you should be confident with payroll processes
* Background in operations support or administrative operations
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work proactively and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting payroll preparation and assisting with payroll cycles
* Handling payroll queries and liaising with internal teams
* Providing general operational and administrative support during a busy period
* Ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely workflow across payroll and ops tasks
