We are currently recruiting Physiotherapists who wish to join our rotational scheme of core and specialised rotations which occur in our three main sites (Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Amersham).
They are 4-Month Rotations –Musculoskeletal / Neurology /
Orthopaedics (Trauma and Elective) / Burns and Plastics
/ Respiratory / Spinal Injuries (Acute and Rehab)
/Community
Main duties of the job
To assess, plan interventions and the service delivery of your own patient caseload and document in associated records within a clinical area, under the supervision/guidance of Senior Physiotherapists.
To participate in continuing professional and service development, and contribute to organisational objectives.

Education & Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Current registration with Health Professions Council
2. Diploma /Degree in Physiotherapy
Desirable criteria
3. MCSP Membership
Experience
Essential criteria
4. Work experience within the NHS
5. Ability to work and interact effectively within an interdisciplinary team
6. Comprehensive Student placements ( covering – Ortho, Neuro, Resp, MSK,)
7. Establish and maintain CPD Portfolio
8. Knowledge and application of evidence based practice and clinical reasoning
9. Comprehensive Student placements ( covering – Ortho, Neuro, Resp, Musculoskeletal,)

11. Car driver / owner able to travel to other locations within the trust using own vehicle
12. Self motivated
13. Physical ability and endurance to work in the physical environment of the clinical area of all rotations within this post
14. Ability to participate in on call / weekend working rota

15. Clear, concise verbal and written communication to ensure liaison with multi disciplinary team, patients and carers to ensure records and reports are accurate and in legible manner (in English)
16. Ability to integrate, participate and contribute as an effective member of a team
17. Ability to prioritise tasks and functions against well reasoned standards
18. Ability to plan, manage and organise required tasks within available resources (including time)
19. Use of and/or knowledge of POMR (Problem orientated medical records) record keeping
20. Knowledge of Current related legislation ( H&S, Data P. Act, etc)
21. Awareness of limitations of own professional abilities
22. Ability to self direct towards the attainment of clear goals
