Job Description
I am currently working with an award-winning Leeds firm that are seeking a Solicitor with experience in handling Claimant Clinical Negligence matters.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to play a key role in the growth and development of the firm’s expanding Clinical Negligence department.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception to settlement, including both pre- and post-litigation matters.
* Conduct thorough case investigations, gather evidence, and liaise with medical experts.
* Progress claims in accordance with the CPR and relevant Pre-Action Protocols.
* Negotiate settlements effectively and professionally.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
* Strong litigation experience.
* Excellent understanding of the CPR and the Pre-Action Protocol for the Resolution of Clinical Disputes.
* Proven experience of handling a variety of complex clinical negligence claims from inception to conclusion.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Experience working to targets and KPIs.
