We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Learning and Engagement Co-ordinator to join our friendly Learning & Engagement team and play a vital role in supporting meaningful educational experiences for people of all ages. About the Role As the key administrative support for our Learning and Engagement Team, you'll be the central point of contact for all enquiries and logistics. Whether its coordinating volunteers, handling bookings, or ensuring the right materials arrive at the right place, you will help bring our schools, public programmes, and family learning events to life. You'll be office-based most of the time, but you'll also have opportunities to be on the ground at learning team events and projects, helping you develop a true understanding of our department’s activities and ensuring you're a confident ambassador for what we do. You will manage day-to-day enquiries and bookings for our Learning Centres, handle financial tasks such as raising purchase orders and processing invoices, and support people processes involving casual facilitators and volunteers. You'll be responsible for monitoring and recording key data, coordinating facilitators and resources, and administering the Travel Subsidy Fund to enhance access for schools and community groups. Additionally, you'll prepare event briefings, memos, and sales reports, liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth communication with external partners, and uphold policies that support efficient, inclusive, and impactful programming. This is a permanent role working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the occasional need to support evening and weekend events. About You You’ll bring a rare combination of outstanding organisational skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to creating accessible learning opportunities. You will need: Proven experience in administration and coordination Exceptional attention to detail and strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office The ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and stay calm under pressure Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable manner Familiarity with databases and financial processes A commitment to inclusion, access, and creating positive learning experiences for everyone It’s even better if you have: Experience in a learning, education or engagement setting A first aid qualification Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend events Why Join Us?
