About the Role:
We are looking for aJunior Fashion Import Merchandiserto join our growing team in South Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a recentgraduate in Buying & Merchandisingor someone with 6-12 months of experience in a similar role. You will play a key role in managing the critical path, working closely with accounts, and ensuring smooth product flow from factory to customer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Critical Path Management:Track orders from development to delivery, ensuring key deadlines are met.
* Supplier Liaison:Communicate with overseas factories daily, ensuring production stays on schedule.
* Order Processing:Assist with raising purchase orders and managing order confirmations.
* Sample Management:Oversee the approval process for lab dips, strike-offs, and production samples.
* Stock Monitoring:Work with internal teams to track shipments, resolve delays, and ensure timely delivery.
* Customer Support:Assist in managing client accounts, responding to queries, and providing updates.
* Trend & Market Research:Keep up to date with fashion trends, pricing, and competitor activity.
* Admin & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of order status, approvals, and shipment details.
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree in Buying & Merchandising, Fashion Business, or similar(or relevant experience).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
* Confident communicator with great attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve proactively.
* Excel proficiency and ability to handle data accurately.
* A keen interest in fashion and the supply chain process.
