Our client is looking for an accomplished and commercially astute Head Chef to take full ownership of their well-established and high-performing kitchen.
You’ll oversee a dedicated and skilled kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences across a broad range of events and occasions. The role offers variety and creativity, and you will play a key part in shaping the culinary direction of the business while ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic leadership to the kitchen team, setting clear standards and ensuring consistency across all areas of service
2. Design and implement seasonal menus aligned with business objectives and guest expectations
3. Manage kitchen financials, including food costs, stock control, labour planning and supplier relationships
4. Ensure all food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations are rigorously adhered to
5. Develop and implement kitchen training plans, fostering a culture of learning, accountability and progression
6. Oversee recruitment, onboarding and performance management of kitchen staff
