Job Description
The In-House Banking Lawyer will be:
3. Providing legal advice on securitisation transactions across various asset classes, including mortgage loans, credit cards, auto loans, and trade receivables
4. Supporting other debt capital markets (DCM) transactions, such as covered bonds, unsecured bond issuances, and structured products
5. Collaborating with business areas across Corporate & Institutional Banking to deliver pragmatic legal solutions
6. Engaging in strategic and regulatory projects related to DCM
7. Contributing to central initiatives within the Legal & Secretariat function
The Successful Applicant
The In-House Banking Lawyer should be:
8. A solicitor or equivalent with a current practising certificate in a relevant jurisdiction
9. Possessing ideally 4+ years' PQE in securitisation and DCM, gained in private practice or in-house
10. Experienced in providing commercial legal advice and leading complex transactions
11. Adaptable, with a willingness to engage in various DCM products and projects
12. Skilled in building relationships and influencing stakeholders across functions
