Senior Materials Process Operative
Our client, based in Radcliffe, requires a Lead Process Operative to join our team producing paper products for blue‑chip consumer goods.
Main Duties
* Managing the "cooking" process of raw materials.
* Loading raw material into the process machines.
* Starting up and shutting down machinery.
* Ensuring safe and efficient running of the manufacturing process.
* Completing full training provided.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of manufacturing/process experience.
* Experience in food industry, FMCG, chemical industry or similar.
* Familiarity with strict health & safety processes.
Hours & Schedule
Average 38.5 hours per week. Working days and nights, including some weekends. 7 days off every 4 weeks. Continental shift pattern required.
Salary & Benefits
£34,700 per annum plus overtime (available). Pension plan – up to 8% matched by employer. 7 days holiday every 4 weeks worked. Opportunity to progress to Team Leader role (£47,000).
