Our London office is currently 200+ people, and growing. We are seeking an Interior Architect / Designer with 3-6 years' experience to support the Senior Interior Designer in working alongside project teams, assisting them in all stages from competition to construction. The right candidate will have a relevant qualification in Architecture and/or Interior Design, with relevant interior design industry experience, ideally with experience working on hospitality and/or cultural projects in the Middle East.

* Demonstrable experience working with strong conceptual design ability on defined areas of large projects or entire projects of a small scale.
* Ability to produce accurate drawings demonstrating an advanced understanding of interiors, building systems and specifications, construction techniques and architectural building materials and finishes.
* Ability to enhance design concepts through technical strategies and research design.
* Experience producing concept design documentation, construction documentation, construction administration.
* Experience coordinating all elements of FF&E, including material selection and producing specification schedules.
* Has been involved in the preparation of client concept presentations.
* Strong organisation and communication skills, is capable of multi-tasking and working to deadlines, is proactive and a team-player who is excited to engage in BIG's unique culture.
Required skills and experience:
* Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a relevant field.
* 3-6 years' post-qualification experience as an Interior Architect / Designer, with experience working on projects in the Middle East.
* Experience working with hospitality and cultural projects is highly desirable.
* Strong ability with Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, Vray, Enscape, and Adobe Suite.
* Strong conceptual, design and graphic skills.
* Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration.
* Ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking.
* Knowledge of products, materials, suppliers and construction methods.
* Exposure to management and coordination of project stakeholders, local authorities and approving bodies, and sub-consultants.
* Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team.
* Excellent communication skills, fluent in English- spoken and written, professional proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
