Customer Service Representative
Location: Kitts Green, Birmingham
Pay Rate: £16.21 per hour
Hours: 36.66 per week
Contract Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover)
Pertemps is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Kitts Green. This is a temporary opportunity to support the team during a maternity leave period.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day customer account activities, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
Enter orders and create items using Oracle systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to support monthly financial planning and order management.
Handle customer complaints and process credit notes to resolve invoice disputes promptly.
Deliver efficient support to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
Apply continuous improvement tools to enhance service delivery.
Ensure compliance with company policies through cross-functional collaboration.Requirements:
Essential:
Minimum of a high school education.
At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
Fluent in English.Desirable:
1–3 years of customer service experience.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Strong communication skills across all levels.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the aluminium industry and product applications is a plus.
