Job Description
3. Provide advice and support on employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
4. Ensure compliance with employment laws and organisational policies.
5. Draft and review HR documentation, such as contracts and policy updates.
6. Collaborate with management to implement best practices in employee relations.
7. Conduct investigations into workplace concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions.
8. Deliver training sessions to managers on HR policies and procedures.
9. Support the accounting and finance department with HR-related needs and initiatives.
10. Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
The Successful Applicant
A successful ER Advisor should have:
11. Proven experience in employee relations within the not-for-profit or related sector.
12. Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
13. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
14. Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
15. Proficiency in drafting HR documentation and maintaining accurate records.
16. A collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
